Hydraulic Deep Drawing Presses (H-Frame): 100–1000 Ton
Fresan H-frame presses shape sheet metal of varying thickness and grades - steel, stainless steel and alloys - under high pressure between male and female dies. The twin-column H-frame carries the drawing force symmetrically through both uprights, keeping deflection low and blank-holder pressure even across large dies. Every press is engineered to order, from 100 to 1000 tons, built to each customer's requested dimensions.
Why an H-frame for deep drawing?
In deep drawing, the ram pulls the blank into the die over a long stroke while the cushion holds the sheet under controlled pressure. An open-front frame deflects asymmetrically under that combination of forces; a closed H-frame does not. The symmetric load path keeps the ram square to the table through the full stroke, which protects tool life and part quality on deeper draws, thicker sheet and larger die sets - the work this press type is built for.
Engineered, not adapted
Unlike our C-frame lines, H-frame presses aren't offered in fixed sizes. A 200-ton press built for 600mm of daylight and a 200-ton press built for 700mm of daylight are genuinely different machines - the frame, and often the cylinder, are sized differently for each. Every application is different, so we engineer each H-frame press around the force, dimensions and cushion requirements of the part and die it will actually run - not adapted from a fixed design. That precision carries into the machine's working life, too: a frame sized to your real loads isn't carrying stress it was never built for. The result is a press sized to your tooling, not the nearest match from a catalog.
